About this workshop
Let’s be honest - parenting is hard. And doing it while feeling isolated, overwhelmed or “on” all the time is even harder.
Nurture the Mother is a monthly support circle for mums who are craving community, compassion, and calm. No judgement. No mum-shaming. Just a small group of women who “get it”, coming together to share, breathe, and be themselves for a while.
This circle is facilitated by Paula Sampson-Lawrence – mum of four, Parenting Coach, and founder of Accelerate Empowerment and the Untriggered Parenting Podcast.
Who This Circle Is For
This space is for you if:
You feel overwhelmed, exhausted or overstretched in motherhood
You carry a lot of mum guilt or constantly feel you’re “not enough”
You’re doing it largely on your own (physically or emotionally)
You want to parent gently/peacefully but find yourself triggered
You miss you — the woman you were before motherhood
You’re craving real talk, not picture-perfect parenting
You do not need to have it all together to come. You are welcome exactly as you are.
What to Expect Each Month
Each circle is gentle, relaxed and structured enough to feel safe.
A typical session includes:
Arrivals & Grounding Check-In – a simple “how you’re really doing” round
Theme of the Month – for example:
Finding calm when motherhood feels heavy
Mum guilt & self-compassion
Boundaries with children and family
Mothering when you weren’t mothered that way
Short Teaching from Paula – practical insights and tools from our Untriggered Parenting Programme
Guided Reflection or Journaling – gentle prompts to help you make sense of your own story
Group Sharing (always optional) – space to be heard and to listen
Closing practice – a calming practice so you leave feeling more grounded than when you came
You will never be put on the spot to share more than you feel comfortable with.
What You’ll Walk Away With
A sense of relief: “It’s not just me.”
Practical tools to stay calmer and more regulated at home
Fresh perspective on your triggers, guilt and inner critic
Connection with other mums who understand your world
A reminder that you deserve nurturing too
This circle is designed to support you so you can show up to your family from a more resourced place.
